There are challenges inspired by reality TV shows, some geared towards construction, with a greater focus on adventure, others that are more focused on humor and also those that are passed down from generation to generation. All you have to do is look around, choose the challenge that interests you most, follow its rules and have fun!
1 - The Legacy
This is one of the most popular challenges for players and also one of the most fun in The Sims 4. It consists of creating a Sim from scratch to be the patriarch or matriarch and following the family they have built over ten generations. All of this family's assets will have to be built on the spot, without mods, tips or cheats, just using what the base game has to offer.
Another very important rule is that if something unexpected happens, such as the Sim losing his job or his house catching fire, you won't be able to reset the game. You'll also have to play with members of the same family for many generations, so it can be a very emotional experience for the player in the long run.
2 - Genetic cleansing
This challenge also has to do with following the generations of the Sim created, but the focus is totally different. This is one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4, where the player has to create the weirdest Sim possible, with exaggerated and inhuman characteristics. From there, the goal is to try to clean up these genetic characteristics in subsequent generations until there is nothing left of the first Sim in the appearance of their descendants.
The rules are quite simple: create the Sim in CAS with the most bizarre appearance you can manage and use the random generator for clothes and name. From then on, your Sim won't be able to have a job or skills, its main objective will be to have a baby and that's what you'll invest in. Wander around and spend all your time flirting with whoever you can until you find the blessed soul who will agree to have a baby with your little monster.
Once the baby is born and has grown enough, you'll move it to another house and repeat the whole process. And you'll keep changing generations at this rate until there are no more remnants of the first Sim's weirdness and you've cleaned up its genetics. Keeping up with this progress makes it one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4.
3 - Madhouse
The asylum challenge is another one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4. In it you'll control eight different Sims who will live in the same place and that place must have all the limitations that a real asylum would have in order to make the situation more immersive.
All the Sims taken in by your asylum must have the personality trait "insane" and your main objective will be to reach the maximum level of happiness with each of them. When you reach this goal with a Sim, they will be free to leave the asylum and do whatever they want. While they're there, they won't be able to work and their income will come exclusively from manual labor. The asylum should only have a bed, a bathroom and the cheapest appliances possible.
4 - Serial Killer
This challenge lasts a total of three weeks and, during this time, you'll need to attract as many Sims as possible to your house. Once inside, you'll have to remove the doors of the rooms where the Sims are so that they end up starving to death. This is one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4 if you have a sadistic spirit in your body.
The rules here are to create a Sim with good characteristics, because then people will want to visit you and that will be a disaster. We'll spend three weeks starving the visitors by locking them in rooms. There's no mystery to it and, at the end of the three weeks, you'll be able to see how many Sims you've managed to eliminate in the role of serial killer.
5 - Alien Invasion

6 - The Cult
In this challenge you'll have to create a community away from technology where a group of Sims will take part in a kind of community cult. The aim is to live in nature and venture into all the bizarre things that cults often do to keep communities together.
Here the start comes when you create a Sim who will serve as the cult's pioneer. All the others created will be made from him and complement his social characteristics as the leader. All the items in the community should only be the most basic for survival, such as tents and stoves that are left outside. None of them should work either, but rather live off art-related activities. 7 - Decades Challenge
Much like the legacy challenge, the decades challenge will also focus on following a family of Sims through the generations and is also one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4. The difference here is that you have to start your game as if you were in the 1980s and add technology and things that have happened over the course of history as time goes by.
What does that mean? It means that you will have to use only wooden furniture, not use electricity, marry someone of the same ethnicity and of the opposite sex at first. By 1900, you can have electricity and basic sanitation, but only men can work. In 1910, the men will have to go to war and this can be simulated by raising cow-plants and seeing if the male members of the family survive the plague.
In 1920, women could work outside and so on. The rule is this: you have to copy the historical decades as faithfully as possible and turn this experience into one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4.
8 - Big Brother
Based on Rede Globo's most popular reality TV show, this challenge is one of the most popular among The Sims players. In it, you'll create eight Sims with completely different personalities. Once you've done that, you'll put them together in a house and you won't control them, you'll just observe their actions.
Keep track of how friendly all eight Sims are with each other and, at the end of each week, the Sim with the least friendship in the house will leave the "program" just like in the reality show. Many say this is the best of the fun challenges in The Sims 4!
9 - MasterChef
Following in the wave of reality TV shows that are loved by the public, we now have The Sims version of MasterChef! The aim here is to build the right environment for a cooking competition with judges and participants with the lowest possible level of experience.
You must create three Sims to be the judges. They must all have the Master Chef as their inspiration and the Gastronomy trait. From there you must create another 5 Sims with random traits and aspirations to be the contestants. The residence will be the setting for the program, so all the necessary elements must be present for the challenges to be met, as well as for there to be greater interaction in what is one of the most entertaining programs.
Having done all that, you'll have to set aside four days a week to do the general challenge, the immunity challenge, the elimination challenge and also to let the Sims go out fishing and find food to use in their recipes. The participants must never have cooked in their lives to make it more interesting and if a Sim ends up performing physiological needs during a challenge they will automatically be eliminated.

10 - Animal Shelter
To complete this challenge you'll need the Cats and Dogs expansion. Your Sim must have the main traits Dog Lover, Cat Lover and have the aspiration "Friend of Animals" for the game to work. You'll also need to use cheats just to get the money to open a veterinary clinic and work there. Your house should also have everything you need to give a good home to the abandoned pets you plan to adopt.
Once you've done that, all you have to do is find abandoned cats and dogs and take them into your home. After that, you'll also need to find another Sim, make a friendship of more than 50% with them and donate an animal. This donation will need to take place via the "Manage Worlds" tool. Your main objective will be to rescue 30 animals and give them up for responsible adoption. If you're a real-world animal lover, you'll definitely find this one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4.
11 - Mermaid
Now, if your dream is to live the life of a mermaid, we have the perfect challenge for you too! But we're going to have a bit of a hard time of it, or it wouldn't be a challenge: you'll have to live out of the water until you find your true love. To do this, you'll also need an expansion pack, just like the one for dogs and cats, but this time for Tropical Islands.
In what is one of the most fun challenges in The Sims 4, you have to create a mermaid and place her anywhere in the Sulani region. You can't let her go into the sea, but you can use baths and the like to keep her hydrated. Another important point is that no one can know you're a mermaid. The first chance you get, marry a human Sim, have a child with him or her and then turn all your family members into mermaids. End of story.
